The Bahariya Oasis is situated in Egypt's Western Desert, some 370 kilometers from Giza, and can be reached by car in around 4 hours from central Cairo. It is made up of a collection of minor abandoned villages, the most well-known of which being Bawiti village, one of its major and administrative hubs.
After lunch in the area, continue your trip. Driving through the Valley of El Haize, the southernmost settlement of Bahariya, with its cool spring, follows the Black Desert. Then, travel to Crystal Mountain, where the crystals sparkle like the sun at night. A trip to the breathtaking Valley of Agabat, which was formed by sandstorms in the area and has a variety of gray and unusual rocks covered in creamy white sand. After lunch, you'll spend some time on the desert taking in the magnificent sunset.
